  1. i think mom can add a few recipe's, but ill give it a shot.
i find takeing rosehip berry's, and split them, clean out the inside by scooping out the guts. then place the skin in the sun to dry. after a full day put them in a bag and keep on hand as a munchy, way more vitamin c than an orange.

my other favorite is digging up dandelion roots, wash and trim, bake it, can be ground up as coffee substitute or munch the root.

several grasses can be cooked and eaten with rhubarb but types of grass have different procedure.

i made a gren stew of grasses and roots, herbs...well anyway i worked all day with my buddy's and come supper, they was pooped. i had energy to spare. of course the nutriant value of what i ate was off the charts...

  2. as ever, i do enjoy eating edible wild,

i will be looking into a more complete cooking and prepareing of wild edibles soon. seems most folks are relluctant to try odd things if they know what it is... as opposed to buying food out of a store. that stuff does come from somewhere on a farm. okay i agree, i cant quit store food. i tried but we as a society arent set up for it. the times are a different.
on my other blog i look at options,
    alternatives,
    the..'what if'..

well i try to anyway. mostly its a good launch pad into technology we never dreamed of... we can be off fossil fuel right now but its being suppressed. in any case, theres other options folks...
